James  Dries

Chief Executive Officer 

Jim Dries founded and serves as the CEO for piLYTIX. Jim's career began as an investment banker at BofA Merrill Lynch (formerly Banc of America Securities), working on more than $8 billion in equity, debt and M&A capital raising. After leaving Wall Street, Jim led sales, marketing and product management teams both at the Corporate Executive Board and Clubessential.

Jim has a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Katherine Ivers

Chief Operating Officer

Kate Ivers serves as COO for piLYTIX. Kate's career has spanned law, operations and data security. She began her career as an attorney in the Intellectual Property group at Wildman, Harrold, Allen and Dixon. Recently, she served as the SVP of Operations and General Counsel for Clubessential where she oversaw product implementation, client services, human resources, legal and accounting.

Kate has a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Loyola University (Magna Cum Laude).

Hendrik Kits van Heyningen

Chief Technology Officer

Hendrik Kits van Heyningen serves as CTO for piLYTIX. His career began at KVH Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: KVHI) working on R&D for inertial navigation systems. Recently, he worked at Analytics Operations Engineering, Inc. (now a subsidiary of McKinsey & Company) and took leadership of the team that developed the original piLYTIX models.

An accomplished musician, Hendrik has performed as a pianist at Carnegie Hall, and he served as Music Director for the Yale Davenport Pops Orchestra.

Hendrik has a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Yale University (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).

Lawrence Coleman

VP Engineering

Lawrence Coleman began his career programming cloud software for IBM and Dell. He then focused on software startups where he developed real-time systems for toll roads, applications for a social media security company, and served as a lead engineer at a restaurant application company.

He currently volunteers his time with ATX Hack for Change focusing on civic computing work. As an accomplished swing dancer, Lawrence has volunteered his time to administer and chair the largest swing event in Austin.

Lawrence graduated from the Engineering Honors College at University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Junior Software Engineer

Pilytix brings Explainable Artifical Intelligence (XAI) to sales teams so they can be more effective and close more deals, faster. We use best-in-class tools and programming techniques to quickly deliver AI insights to all of our clients. On a daily basis, you will interface with data scientists and support to see how machine learning changes how you program new features and maintain a Software-as-a-Service product.

This full-time position will be based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Development and Data Science teams to resolve client issues

  • Work with clients to ensure our product delivers value to their users

  • Work collaboratively with development and data science teams to add features and scalable tools using primarily Python and ECMAScript 2018

  • Participate in design meetings to ensure the product meets business requirements

  • Participate in agile/Kanban practices on a daily basis

  • Comply with change management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering. Otherwise, a BS in a STEM field with 2+ years of work experience

  • Ability to understand and discuss quantitative subjects

  • Working knowledge of current Linux Distribution (Ubuntu or Debian preferred)

  • 1+ Years of experience with Python (version 3 preferred)

  • 1+ Years of experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)

  • 1+ Years of experience with a Javascript dialect (ECMAScript 2018 preferred)

  • Interest in owning projects from end-to-end

  • Architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems for data processing that solve a business goal

  • Build features in their entirety

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 3-5 years of work experience

  • Ability to understand and discuss quantitative subjects

  • Experience owning projects from end-to-end

  • Experience building and supporting production quality Software-as-a-Service applications

  • Experience in understanding code bases, including API design techniques

  • 3+ Years using Git and a branching strategy like Gitflow

  • 3+ Years experience with APIs (REST or GraphQL preferred)

  • 2+ Years writing ReactJS or equivalent

Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional quantitative analytical skills and understanding of data modeling

  • Work with clients to ensure our product delivers value to their users

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science preferred)

Business Development Associate 

We are seeking an entry-level Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team.  Our Business Development Associates assist our B2B Sales Executives and Product Support staff in developing and maintaining a sales pipeline.  Our Business Development Associates interact daily with C-Level Executives from some of the world’s leading companies.  At Pilytix, we seek highly results-driven, confident Business Development Associates to engage senior-level executives, proactively schedule and confirm sales meetings, and participate in sales lead generation and cold-calling campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and make outbound calls to qualified executives at qualified companies to exceed sales goals

  • Partner with Sales Executives and Product Support staff to create customized plans for sales territories, support sales cycle success and drive urgency

  • Educate prospective clients - over the phone - on the value of the Pilytix offering and services

  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from prospective and current clients

  • Work with Account Managers to ensure clients are leveraging the extensive Pilytix offering to help drive client renewals and identify additional opportunities for add-on solutions services

  • Ensure that our CRM system contains accurate and up-to-date information

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Major(s) in Business, Marketing, International Business, Economics Subjects preferred)
